Environment Protection and Tree Plantation
The organization provides plants free of cost to those (persons/citizens) who take responsibility to grow it up in Pune district and other districts as well. Through this tree plantation drive the places like Sinhagad Road, Khadakwasala, Nihar Orphanage Pune, Vasantdada Patil High School-Shukrawar Peth, B.S.N.L. Camp office, Walwekar Nagar Society are covered. Trees are planted since and on special occasions like 15th August and 26th January, through tree plantation drive, blood donation camp and free health checkups etc. are done to create the awareness among the society. The trees planted through our efforts are still standing with honour which is strengthening the foundation of the organization.
Today the basic necessities of every living being is pure air, healthy food and clean water. An imbalance is caused due to deforestation and lack of awareness toward protection of clean environment and our natural habitat.
Clean air and water is need of every human being. As we have only one Earth to survive, it is the prime responsibility of every human to protect environment and reduce pollution. Brahmand sansthan inspired with Jadav Payeng, who alone has created 1250 acres of forest in Assam and inspired everyone to love plants and natural habitat. We donate free plants to those who take responsibility to grow the plant like their own child. We came across many citizens who did their duties in this way. Many housing societies adopted trees, also school children have grown and nurtured trees.
Problem of Global Rise in Temperature
The proportion of tree plantation over trees being cut is inverse. With the sole aim of inversing this trend, our organization has taken the responsibility by DEDICATION and COMMITMENT. The tree plantation programs are conducted with the help of school students in rural and urban area of Pune district. In future the NGO will tie up within Maharashtra and Worldwide.
To improve the approach of thinking in right direction, books – “Vichargyan” are distributed free of cost to the students of 7th to 10th standard of various schools. Awareness programs are conducted and the importance of trees, nature, healthy environment is emphasized. Students are encouraged to participate in tree plantation. We consume oxygen free of cost, hence must grow at least ONE TREE as our own contribution to almighty’s Creation. The teachers from Ravindranath Tagore School (Camp, Pune), Pawar Public School (Nanded City, Pune) have planted trees in their school premises with the support of Brahmand Sansthan.
BSNL campus Pune, Nihar balakashram, Tagore School, Walwekarnagr society, Pawar Public School have participated in this TREE Plantation Drive. Around 400 trees are been adopted till date. National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day are celebrated with Tree plantation Drive since foundation of Brahmand Sansthan in the year 2013.
